Information We Collect

We collect valid original driving licences plus 2 forms of ID. Copies are not accepted. IDs must be no less than 3 months or 12 weeks old.

We collect your photocard driving licence. Old paper style licence holders must also provide a valid photo ID (passport / work ID card etc.).

We collect your National Insurance number as part of our required documentation.

We collect payment card details (debit or credit card in your name) for rental payments and the £200.00 deposit required to secure your vehicle booking.

We collect your contact details (phone number, email) when you make an online booking so our rental team can contact you to obtain a deposit and confirm your booking.

We collect information about your vehicle pickup and drop-off times for rental management purposes.

How We Use Your Information

We conduct DVLA checks upon rental of vehicle. Drivers with over 6 penalty points will not be eligible to hire a vehicle.

We verify your identity and check that your IDs are valid and meet our minimum age requirement of 3 months or 12 weeks old.

We verify that drivers have held their licence for a minimum of 12 months and are a minimum of 25 years of age.

We process your £200.00 deposit payment to secure your vehicle. Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been made.

We use your contact details to communicate with you about your booking, pickup times, and drop-off times.

We process cancellation requests and issue refunds when cancelled 48 hours before rental start time.

We charge £50 fees for no-shows or cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, and for late vehicle returns.

Information Sharing & Transfer

All PCN's, driving offences and parking offences will be transferred into the hirer's details as required by law.

We share information with DVLA to conduct licence checks and verify penalty points.

We share payment information with payment processors to handle your rental payments, deposits, cancellation fees, and refunds.

We may share information with authorities and law enforcement when required to transfer parking and driving offences.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your driving licence information and ID documents for the minimum period required by insurance and legal obligations.

We retain payment and deposit records for accounting and tax purposes as required by law.

We retain booking and cancellation records to process refunds and handle disputes related to the 48-hour cancellation policy.

We retain records of PCN's, driving offences, and parking offences transferred to hirers as required by legal obligations.

Your Rights

You have the right to access your personal information including your ID documents, driving licence details, and booking records.

You have the right to correct or update your personal information if it is inaccurate, including contact details and payment information.

You have the right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.

You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before rental start, as per our cancellation policy.

Security & Protection

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your driving licence, ID documents, and National Insurance number against unauthorized access.

Your payment card information and £200.00 deposit transactions are processed securely through encrypted payment systems.

We restrict access to your personal information to authorized personnel only who need it to process your rental booking and conduct DVLA checks.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
